Access Game Industry Immersion While Studying a Formal Qualification
Complete a Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies (ITC20120), online outside of regular high school hours,
with reputable training provider Training Professionals (RTO 31955). This unique opportunity can be completed in
approximately 3 hours per week over 26 weeks (approx 6 months).
Lightmare Studios is a multi-award winning Australian Game Development Studio and will be facilitating your
work experience and industry immersion during your time at Training Professionals (RTO 31955).
This partnership will allow you to apply your newly learned skills to the real world through exposure to
Lightmare Studios current prototypes that have not yet been publicly released.

Training Professionals are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Number - 31955), headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland with over 10 years of experience delivering nationally-recognised qualifications to over 20,000 students. Unlike many RTO’s, Training Professionals is an employer-focused RTO, meaning that many of their students are either currently employed in their respective industries or undertaking work placement through industry partnerships much like this one.
As the Registered Training Provider in this industry partnership, Training Professionals will be delivering and assessing all content associated with this nationally recognised qualification, "ICT20120 - Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies", which will be focused on the Digital and Technology skills associated with the gaming industry.
What is required for completion of the Certificate 2 qualification?
Training Professionals is offering the ICT20120 - Certificate II in Applied Digital Technologies qualification through 100% online, live delivered training, completed one day per week over an estimated 26 weeks. This training has been specifically created to suit the needs of young adults looking for an entry pathway into the IT or gaming industry, or looking for a starting position to move onto higher level vocational or tertiary qualifications.
This qualification has no entry requirements and will be conducted outside of school hours to ensure it does not clash with current student commitments such as High School Study.
While the work placements are not mandatory for the completion of the Certificate, we highly recommend that students engage in them to get the most out of this unique opportunity.

Recognition of Prior Learning & Experience starting at $2000
RPL
Expected Duration is 3 to 4 Months. Typically someone applying for RPL should have
significant experience working in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry and have been
completing the normal duties for someone in ICT. It is a requirement that you have your employer's support
to undertake this certificate through us. The RPL process is about conducting a detailed assessment to identify
the learner's existing Knowledge and Skill. The core focus of the RPL process is that evidence is collected
that clearly demonstrates a person is competent in all aspects of the “Performance Criteria”
and has all of the associated skills. As a result of this, where a candidate claims to have the
appropriate knowledge and skills, we will work with them to Assess their existing Knowledge, Skills and past
experience to determine their eligibility for the Qualification. Where gaps are identified we will provide Gap
Training.
Total Cost- Including all expenses and assuming that all modules have RPL granted this will
cost you $2,000.
What are the units and how long will it take? It is important to note that this is assuming we can gather all of the evidence needed
for you to successfully complete the RPL process. If we can not, we will provide you with the necessary gap
training.

Developing Skills From Scratch starting at $2495
Fee for service
Expected duration is up to 2 years. It is our requirement that you have your
employer's support to undertake this certificate through us therefore together we will have to fill in the
Employer Resource Assessment prior to enrolment. Training and Assessment will be conducted in person at your
workplace and where your employer doesn’t have the equipment necessary to complete a particular module we
will arrange for you to attend training at one of our Not for Profit or Community based projects to deliver your
Training and Final Assessment.
